A few leads...

So, I've got a few good leads in the Central Florida area for some good jobs. Hopefully within the next month or so, I can really get my freelance web design and developing up an running. More news to come!

Thanks for your comment on my blog, "Traveling Chemist"! I too began the "rise up" .... 31 years ago. All the best in your career search! Houston was terrible in the 1990's but now our fair city is more vibrant and busy what with the oil business ("awl biddness" in the local drawl) in a state of upturn. Hang in there. FYI: Dubai is booming - hotels over there are way expensive but people who go there seemingly have money and are spending it.

Hey Blake,

Nice to see that I am not the only one starting to do this. It will be a bit ruff, as we are in the middle of an economic recession, but I believe this will be over on 6-7 months, and I am telling you that as I am a student at a Business University in Romania, E.U.
I am starting my freelancer "Career" this November, and I hope it will start OK. I love webdesign and webdevelopment, and I also have an important experience in Server technology(UNIX/Windows). I wish you good luck as a freelancer, and maybe if you want we can have a little talk. My AIM handle is: VoicuRogojan .
Good luck and success!

Great for you Blake, I hope that you will get it. Did you know that the lowest paid country for web developers is the Philippines? You can also check this info graphic regarding average salaries around the world. It will give you more information on how much graphic designers, web developers, software developers earn.
